The film features Rhys Thomas and Stephen Mangan as the two friends attempting an expedition to the North Pole. Alexander Skarsgard has the role of Terje in the film. For ticket information and dates click here for link to the United Film Festival Site:

David L. Williams is the director of this fun film. He has been active on Facebook in having fans recruiting indie movie theaters show the film. I've seen the number of fans for BYP page grow from a handful to almost 5000 fans as of today. If the page can get at least 10,000 fans there is a great chance of the film having a wider release. So if you still have not joined the page as a fan please do so. Click here for a link:

Looking forward to seeing this film in Los Angeles and also to meeting fellow fans! Warning---Spoiler alert!!!

Click here for a link to their site: Here is the review:

Still reeling from the deaths of her fairy cousin, Claudine, and many others in 2009's Dead and Gone, Sookie Stackhouse struggles with paranormal politics in her entertaining if slow-moving 10th outing. When Claudine's triplet, Claude, appears at her doorstep, Sookie reluctantly allows him to move in. The government threatens two-natures with mandatory registration, and tensions run high in the local Were pack. Then Eric's maker, a Roman named Appius Livius Ocella, arrives without warning, bringing along Alexei Romanov, whom he rescued from the Bolsheviks and turned into a vampire. Though the action often builds too slowly, the exploration of family in its many human and undead variations is intriguing, and Harris delivers her usual mix of eccentric characters and engaging subplots. (May)

Can't wait to read the book for myself. I'm a bit worried about the comment on how the action "builds too slowly". I just hope that we do get to finally "hear" Sookie confessing her feelings for Eric.

The Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine for 3/7/10 has an amazing interview and photo shoot of Alexander Skarsgard. On the cover (shown above) it calls Alexander as "Bloody Gorgeous". A pun no doubt due to his role as Eric Northman on HBO's True Blood original series where he plays a 1000 Viking Vampire.

Leslie Gornstein had the pleasure of interviewing Alexander recently. It starts off with the comment that "Alexander Skarsgard can't be accused of going Hollywood". Below is an excerpt from the interview:
For the complete interview click here:

At a recent photo shoot, the six-foot-four Swedish stunner-currently heating up the small screen on HBO's hit series True Blood-showed up sans entourage, parking his own car in the same lot as the crew. His outrageous on-set-demand? A cup of coffee, please. Oh, and he volunteered to be his own stand-in for lighting setup. Unheard of!

Leslie Gornstein: I would imagine that playing a vampire these days is almost like plunging into a major franchise like Star Trek or Star Wars—the scrutiny and adoration just go off the scale. And a character like Eric has been around for a thousand years. All that wisdom and experience—you carry it around with you. That’s attractive. What makes vampires a platform for good drama is they’re also lethal. Eric is an animal. He’s on that edge where you don’t know if he will turn and kill you in a second.

You filmed both an American film, Straw Dogs, and the Swedish film Puss—known stateside as Trust Me—during your latest hiatus. We had a meeting, and I found the project very interesting. Puss—that’s Swedish for “kiss”—without a doubt was a film that excited me. It was directed by Johan Kling, who directed a movie called Darling three years ago—a beautiful little film about a woman and an older man and their friendship against all odds. It was a bit of a nightmare, because it took, like, 23 hours to get from one place to another. And then as soon as I landed, I had to go straight from airport to studio to work for another 14 hours. I probably aged about 20 years doing that.

But so many actors require time to transition between characters, prepare themselves, really sink into a role.

I agree. I know I can't wait to see it! The first photo has caused quite a stir among the many fans. Wonder why Alexander is crying? A few have speculated that he had to reshoot certain scenes involving a lot of cold wet weather! I believe he is re-living a certain bad break up perhaps in the movie. (he plays a Norwegian Olympic skiier). Below is an excerpt to the interview. For the complete interview click here:

Truth be told, season two of True Blood was somewhat lacking in the Eric Northman department. Heartbreaking scenes with Godric (R.I.P.) aside, TB2 was ruled by Maryann Forrester and her creepy dalliances with Demetri. Thankfully, the show's third run promises to feature more of Bon Temps' sexiest vampire as he battles Bill (for Sookie's heart), the Queen of Louisiana (over the V sales), and werewolves (more here). Itching for more info, Tube Talk caught up with Alexander Skarsgård for a quick bite.

Does Eric have genuine feelings for Sookie? Or is he doing it to get at Bill?
"He's intrigued by her, for sure. When he meets her for the first time, he knows there's something different about her and that intrigues him. He doesn't care too much for humans in general - he thinks they're pathetic - but when he meets her, there's something about her. He can't put his finger on it, but he's curious for sure."

It's not just a case of forbidden fruit?
"No – he's curious and he's not gonna let Bill stop him because Bill's just this little kid!"

Could Eric crush him in a fight?
"Bill? Oh yeah! Without a doubt."

Sookie aside, is there anyone else in the show at the moment that Eric would be a good match for?
"I don't know, man. He's already got his Pam - even though that's not a sexual thing, he's got his partner. For sexual attraction, it's all about Sookie."

How far into the third season will we see them acting on the attraction?
"I don't know - we start filming next month and I haven't seen the script yet! I don't know what's gonna happen. But it's building up..."

Alan Ball has hinted that the Queen of Louisiana will get her comeuppance this season. Will Eric have anything to do with that?
"They have this little business on the side so they'll definitely interact more I'm sure. Maybe they'll get punished for that - I don't know. I know less than all the fans on the blogs! I try to stay away from the fan sites because it's not good for me to read that stuff - it'll just freak me out!"

Can't wait to see season 3!! No surprise that Alexander Skarsgard made the list. Alexander Skarsgard is no newcomer to being named one of the sexiest- he has been named sexiest actor in Sweden 5 times!

The other 2 actors listed by Canyon-News were Kyle Lowder and Grayson McCouch. Kyle plays Rick Forrester on the tv soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful". Grayson was in the movie "Armageddon". Here are the photos of the top 3 sexiest actors.
