Episode 2.10 "New world in my view"

 Is it Sunday yet? I know I am still in recovery mode after watching episode 2.08 "I will rise .." Here is an episode summary and a video preview to help keep us going until Sunday.

The episode starts out in Bon Temps which has been ravaged by the chaos caused by Mary Anne's maenad powers. Sookie tries to help her friend Tara break free from Mary Anne's grip. Jessica and Hoyt try to keep Maxine's madness a secret. This episode was directed by Adam Davidson, the next episode of this HBO's vampire drama series is written by Kate Barnow and Elisabeth R. Finch. Entitled "New World in My View", it will air Sunday, August 23 at 9pm Eastern. ( of course I can never wait the extra 3 hours so I added HBO Eastern time to my channels!) One question I know fans want the answer to is who is Eric biting in the screen cap below for Episode 2.10?

HBO promo video for episode 21 "New world in my view"
With a title of "New world in my view" I wonder if Alan Ball's choice for the episode closing credits music will be the song with that title by: Elder Utah Smith and his congregation shown below. Or will it be the version by King Britt from King Britt presents Sister Gertrude. Both have the old soul fok song feel to them.
