Sneek peek for Episode 2.09 "I will Rise Up"
Is it Sunday yet? Oh wait, technically it is still Sunday as I write this post. Tonight's True Blood episode "Timebomb" was action packed.
On Monday, I will be posting fan reactions to "Timebomb".
Once again Alan Ball leaves the fans wating for MORE. The ending of course leaves us with a big question of what will happen next. The episode summary for "I will Rise Up" states:
A wounded Eric plays Sookie for a fool, to Bills dismay. Later, Sookie and Jason reminisce about their recent adventures, and end up bonding. Blaming Eggs for Taras bruises and bizarre behavior, Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to figure out a way to pry their kin from Maryanns grasp. Hoyt defends his relationship with Jessica. In Dallas, Eric and the vampires defend their recent actions to Nan Flanagan, and are stunned when Godric decides to take responsibility for their PR disaster.
Just the first line for the summary has this Alexander Skarsgard fan very happy! Wait that did not come out right. What I mean to say is that as a fan of the show and the books, perhaps we will be able to have a very important part of the book action finally appear on the show. I am not happy that the Viking Vampire is injured.
Here is a promo for next week's episode "I will Rise Up":
With a title of "I will rise up" I wonder if the song that Lyle Lovett sang with that title will appear in the episode. The lyrics for his song go:
In the darkest hour, in the dead night,
As the storm clouds gather, and the lightning strikes,
And the thunder rolls, and the cold rain blows,
The future it holds, what God only knows.
And I will rise up, and I will rise up,
Though I be a dead man, I said yes and amen.
And I will stand tall, and I will stand tall,
Until I meet my end, until I meet my end.
They lyrics do seem to fit in line with a show dealing with vampires. "though I be a dead man"...
